Central Norfolk division is divided into 2 districts: Dereham North and Dereham South. 

Dereham North has Rainbows in Beeston, Brownies in Dereham and Beeston, Joint Rainbow/Brownie unit in Swanton Morley and 2 Guide units in Dereham. 

Dereham South has 2 Rainbow units in Toftwood, Rainbows in Mattishall, 2 Brownie units in Toftwood and 1 in Mattishall, Guides in Toftwood and Mattishall.  

There is also an active Trefoil Guild supporting the units. 

Our units offer a wide range of activities for their members both in unit meetings and away from the premises, giving them the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and join in with activities new to them. 

Programme activities are varied and could include cooking, craft, games, learning and developing skills for the future, First Aid, fire lighting, singing, dancing as well as finding out about the history of Guiding and the wider network of Guiding worldwide.  

Many units get the opportunities to go away with their units. Rainbows have Sleepovers usually locally in village halls or scout halls. Guides, Brownies, and Rangers also have sleepovers which could be in unusual places such as trampoline parks, Sea Life centres but also do weekends and longer periods. Guides often camp at local activity centres and attend many jamborees and festival camps, meeting Guides and Scouts from all over the region and in the case of jamborees, the world. These give them a week-long of activities from morning to night and are thoroughly enjoyed by the girls. Some Brownie and Guide units have ventured further afield to France, Ireland, and Switzerland.  

The division leaders work together to run activities for all the units to attend. They have had thinking day events together. Hire the local cinema to watch all the Girlguiding viewings that come out with a badge twice a year. Have division activity days at Eaton Vale Activity Centre giving the girls chance to do climbing, crate stacking, archery, rifle shooting, go karts, bushcraft, grass sledges, cave bus, canoeing, pioneering and lots more.
